PINOY WORKERS SA FOREIGN EMBASSIES, UNDER BIR ATTACKS....??

FOREIGN EMBASSIES IN THE PHILIPPINES...

1. Foreign embassies are not within the Philippine jurisdiction although their offices are stationed in the Philippines.
2. By the law of State or Treaties, Filipinos working therein are considered OFW or non resident citizen.
3. Income received by these people is not considered wage or salary as far as the Philippine Government is concerned
4. Foreign embassies may disregard the order or instruction of the BIR to provide it with their confidential records such as the compensation received by their staff (national security issue)

5. Read the post entitled "TAX BOMB for Filipinos working at Foreign Embassies!!!" for more info..
